Pamela Flynn
Oak Hill Baptist Church
Somerset, KY

Pamela, or Pam as she is known by her friends, is a unique teacher.  She works with such a passion that at times she is totally misunderstood.  But the key word in that sentence is passion.  Pam truly has a passion for her children and their parents.  Pam works in the Central Office of the Pulaski County Education System in Somerset, KY.  She has taught Sunday School at Oak Hill for over 20 years.  But it is her work outside of the office and the classroom that makes Pam outstanding in her field.

Mrs. Pamela Flynn never tires of sharing how Christ has changed her life, home, and marriage.  Her pursuit of the Lord and the power of His heart changing grace have provided her with insights into life as a single parent, child rearing, marriage, and forgiveness.  She and her husband Larry are actively involved at Oak Hill Baptist Church in the children's ministry.  Pamela and Larry have seen first hand how Christ can change a home and constantly work to reach parents for Christ.

  • How To Reach Moms and Dads outside the classroom.

You will not want to miss this class as Pam shares from her heart how to reach the parents of those that you minister to in the classroom.  Pam has a unique way of reaching out to parents and bringing them in.  If you want to know "bring them in" then this is the class for you.

Lisa Thompson
Oak Hill Baptist Church
Somerset, KY

Lisa has worked in ministry for the past 13 years at the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, KY.  About 10 years ago Lisa began seeing a need that was not being met with just Sunday School or an Awana program.  So many of today's children come from broken homes or even live with grandparents or aunts and uncles.  With that dilemma Lisa began a ministry for the 4th and 5th grade girls that she worked with.  Teaching them how to be young ladies, how to have a walk with the Lord and how to become Christian young women.

Girl Talk became a passion for Lisa.  She has worked hard to reach this generation of young ladies and teach them what it means to be a woman of God.
